In Memory of Hannah ...

I have met a lot of people in my lifetime and Lisa Moore is definitely one of the most inspiring. Her passion for community and her tireless efforts to make her community a better place are surpassed only by her positive cheery attitude to life.

That is why I felt so pleased that I was able to support her by going along to an opening event that she had organised.

Lisa has started up a not for profit project called 'Hannah Meredith Foundation' to help and support young people by educating about drug addiction.

Lisa took care of Hannah, her niece, supporting her to beat heroine, but tragically, Hannah did not win the battle.

Since her death, Lisa has become determined that other young people do not fall victim in the same way.

In memory of Hannah, she has fundraised to install a beautiful pink bench in the new Llanelli Park by the beach, opened officially by Nia Griffiths, Llanelli's Labour MP.

Whilst unpacking the bench there was supposed to be a singer who didn't turn up.

So, I offered to sing a heart mantra. It just seemed like the right thing to do. The ancient sanskrit mantra is a healing especially for emotions and for an aching heart.

Om Hiranyagarbhaya Namaha

And after a busy and extremely emotional day, when everyone had gone and she had cleared away everything, Lisa then took the time to pop round my house to thank me. Well Lisa, thank YOU for being such a beautiful human being.
